Preparing Your Child to be an Independent Adult

Sunday, March 2, 2014: Preparing Your Child to be an Independent Adult

Ron Greer, an ordained United Methodist minister and the Director of Pastoral Counseling Services at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church in Atlanta, has written three books on parenting adult children. Through his knowledge, we will learn about what we can do for our children while they are still living at home to give them life skills to be responsible adults.

RPC Summer Camps!

It's hard to think about summer with snow and ice falling outside, but RPC Summer Camp registrations are officially open!

Cradle Care - A Brand New Ministry of RPC

Are you expecting a new addition to your family?

Do you know someone who is?

The Cradle Care Ministry of RPC ministers to expectant and adopting families. Each family is assigned a caregiver who they communicate with throughout the pregnancy, birth, adoption, and baptism.
Parent names are posted on the 'Expectant Parent Board' located at the North Tower entrance of the church, near the sanctuary and preschool playground.

Drop by to find out who’s new and who’s due!

To enroll as an expecting family or as a mentor in the Cradle Care Ministry, contact our Childcare and Preschool Coordinator, Dorinda Purvis.

Let's Talk About Sex.

In case you weren't able to make it to the First Class Sunday session of, Let's Talk About Sex, or were looking for more information from the class, we have the audio from the children's portion of the class, as well as resources for parents of children.
The RPC Discipleship staff covered big issues that they see arising in both the children and teenage world. We talked about how to talk to our kids about these issues and how we can encourage them to make their own smart decisions.
