Family Mission Experience 2014

It is time again to begin thinking about the RPC Family Mission Experience
to beautiful, St. Simons Island. We spend both Fulton and Cobb/Cherokee County Spring Breaks caring for others in various capacities in the small towns surrounding St. Simons.

This is a mission experience that introduces children to the importance of serving others as a family and church family. We spend an amazing week serving, worshiping and playing.
This is not a week to be missed! We promise it will be a wonderful experience for your family.
This is a trip that is open to families of all sizes and ages, whether you have children/youth or not.

You can register with Sally in the church office, 770-649-4527,
or online,

For more information or questions, please contact Rev. Lyndsay Slocum, 770-649-4519,
or Sarah Kate DeWyngaert, 770-649-4507.

Check out how much fun we had last year!

First Class Sundays

Our next First Class Sundays, I Can’t Figure Out How My Child’s Brain Works, is Sunday, January 5 from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Julia Stoll, EdS, LPC, VBCC, RPT, a school counselor and RPC church member, will help us understand how our children's' brains work and what is the best way to communicate with them and help them learn. First Class Sundays is an open forum for parents, grandparents, and those involved in the life of children and students.

Join us for a special First Class Sundays on Sunday, January 12 from 9:45 – 10:45 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Matt Meyer from The Insight Program will be our guest speaker. This is an open discussion for parents about their children and the idea that addiction to or dependence upon alcohol and other drugs is a serious problem and should be treated as such and how to recognize its existence and what to do.

For more information, visit www.roswellpres.org/events.

There is still space for Whirlyball for the 4th and 5th graders tomorrow, January 3, 1-3pm.
Let Sally know if you're coming!
